Building the Bond Package

The Town of Sahuarita underwent a comprehensive process to gather input from a variety of sources – including structured planning processes, community research and citizen feedback, and Town staff recommendations – over several years to develop the bond package and identify the proposed projects described on this website.

Based on all of the information gathered, the Mayor and Council approved the placement of the bond question on the November 5, 2024 General Election ballot: Proposition 403. If approved, Prop 403 will authorize the sale of general obligation bonds in the amount of $66 million. In addition, the Town plans to contribute $10 million to the projects.
