Rec, Infrastructure Projects Await Voter Funding Approval

[SAHUARITA, AZ – June 26, 2024] – After years of study, planning, and broad community input, the Sahuarita Mayor and Council on Monday, June 10, unanimously approved a resolution calling a bond election with respect to major recreation, police/public safety and infrastructure projects to not only meet current needs of the community but also anticipate needs for the future.

First look at proposed Community Rec Center

[SAHUARITA, AZ – August 12, 2024] – After years of deliberation and planning, new architectural renderings of Sahuarita’s first Multigenerational Recreation Center and Sports Court Complex are now available for public view on SahuaritaBonds2024.info. These are two of the seven recreation and infrastructure projects included on Proposition 403, a general obligation bond package that will appear on the November 2024 General Election ballot for voter approval.
