Everything You Need to Know About Prop 403

The general obligation (GO) bond package — Proposition 403 — contains projects related to recreation and infrastructure which will appear on the November 5, 2024 General Election ballot. If approved, Prop 403 will authorize the issuing of $66 million of GO bonds to enhance community safety and improve quality of life through parks and recreation, police/public safety, and infrastructure improvements. In addition, the Town plans to contribute $10 million to the projects.

*Includes $1.89 million contingency fund applicable to any of the proposed projects.

Since Sahuarita’s incorporation as a Town in 1994, the number of residents has grown by over 1900%. The Mayor and Council consider it the Town’s responsibility to ensure sufficient infrastructure is in place to support Sahuarita’s current and anticipated population.
